Who We Are?

Velammal College of Engineering & Technology, Madurai, has an independent Training & Placement Cell devoted to cater the needs of the organizations in conducting campus interviews for placements. It is headed by Mr. P. Srinivasaperumal, and is assisted by Staff and Students Placement coordinators who lead a team of placement representatives from various courses of study. The Training & Placement Cell plays a very important role in counseling and guiding the students for their successful career. The cell also coordinates various activities to the career of the students along with the industrial training.

Placement Procedure

• Companies are invited to the college through the Training & Placement Cell by the Placement Officer for recruitment.
• To the responding companies, the details of the final year students opting for placement are sent as per their requirements.
• The company is assigned a convenient date for the interview.
• After confirmation by the company, a pre-placment talk is arranged on the date.
• The company condcuts their recruitment program in VCET campus.
• The selected candidates get the intimation of their recruitment status on the same day.
